Andhra Pradesh Grameena Vikas Bank (APGVB) has selected IBM's robust hardware platform to run its mission critical core banking application. APGVB, after careful evaluation chose to implement IBM's System x servers, across their 530 branches.

IBM secured the deal after demonstrating the performance, reliability, availability and redundancy provided by the IBM platform. In addition, the solution ensures server reliability to facilitate transaction time for business operations during peak trading hours.
