Dell has opened a 500sq ft showroom in Chennai and 600sq ft showroom in
Madurai. The Chennai showroom will be operationally managed by Devraj Computers,
while Bloom will be managing the Madurai showroom.
Both the showrooms will have the entire range of Dell consumer products on
display.
Sanjay Yadav, Country Head-Retail, Dell India, said, “Dell Exclusive stores
provide customers with the choice of customizing and choosing the color of the
products that they want to buy.”
Yadav further mentioned, “Dell will continuously evaluate the business
environment and make investments where it makes most business sense.”
Dell has seen a positive impact on sales, post the showroom openings. Besides
sales through the exclusive stores, its online sales has also witnessed a
positive growth. But these showrooms are not planning to provide after-sales
service directly.
