Mukesh Infoservices brings customer loyalty scheme
Monday, October 08, 2007

NR Sethuraman Chennai, Sep 27

Chennai-based Mukesh Info-services has started a customer loyalty program. The company offers a privilege card to its customers, and for every order that is placed with them, the customer can avail certain points. The points can be accumulated and then redeemed for gifts.

B Mukund, CEO, Mukesh Infoservices said, “We want to add value to the total offerings that we give our customers and keep coming up with innovative ways to engage with them.”

Besides this, the company also organizes educational seminars for its customers and points are rewarded to clients who attend the same. This way partners get a first-hand idea of the benefits and they -will be more keen to place an order.

"We have identified four solution verticals: brick infrastructure, foundation infrastructure, connect infrastructure and managed infrastructure"

CEO, Mukesh Infoservices

Mukund said, “We started conducting these programs from July 2007, and till date have conducted two programs-one in the business critical systems and another about workstations. Our next program is based on virtualization. We have made a business strategy to focus on the service-providing domain and are educating customers so that they are aware of the happenings in the industry. We propose to become a complete solution provider for most leading verticals in the enterprise segment.”

In these programs, customers are explained about the current market position, its predicted evolution and how they can leverage it in their business. This is followed by an interactive session, where they take up specific cases and offer solutions to each of the customers.

Currently, the company has identified four broad solution verticals, which would cover all the insights needed for any business house. These include the brick infrastructure, foundation infrastructure, connect infrastructure and managed infrastructure.

In the brick infrastructure, the company would concentrate on the peripherals business while in the foundation infrastructure business critical applications such as servers, storage and software, security would be covered. Connect infrastructure would provide network-related infrastructure ranging from LAN, WAN to thin clients, and the managed infrastructure would manage all these resources using SAP and other business automation solutions.

Meanwhile, Mukesh Infoservices is also on an expansion spree. It has opened branches in Madurai, Hyderabad, Bangalore and Sriperambudur. The company will hold the customer education programs in these cities also.

The solution provider has also set up a Proof of Concept (POC) center, which is mobile. “Customers can take the product to their place, test it there, see how it works and then place an order. This gives them the freedom to experiment with it in their own environment,” Mukund explained. Additionally, they can also visit the POC present in the office and take the training and deploy it in their enterprise.
