With the objective to strengthen the market position among end customers in
the Indian market, Lenovo has opened its third store in alliance
with New Delhi-based Unique Infoways at Nehru Place.
In this store, a complete range of Lenovo products, including IdeaPad and
IdeaCentre range of consumer PCs, and ThinkPad and ThinkCentre range of PCs for
businesses will be available. The company plans to deliver an end-to-end process
guidance to choose the right product for customer requirements, post-sales and
warranty support, all under one roof. Lenovo also plans to introduce and
showcase new products for the first time here in this store and then display
these products to other Indian retail outlets.
Chen Shao Peng, Sr VP-Emerging Markets, Lenovo said, “This store has been
designed to reflect the new look and feel of Lenovo stores internationally,
similar to the best-in-class Lenovo stores in China and worldwide. The New Delhi
store will showcase both our Idea consumer range
and Think commercial products, giving customers convenience and easy access to
our offerings.”

“Our objective is to provide exceptionally engineered PCs and laptops to the
customers. We are committed to the Indian market and are aiming to reach the
top. Lenovo has 150 retail stores across the country and this would be the
flagship store in terms of exclusive branding. With this effort, we are also
maintaining an enhanced relation with our premium channel partners,” commented
Amar Babu. MD, Lenovo India.
Commenting on the factors for selecting Unqiue Infoways, Babu remarked, “We
were earlier associated with IBM. We have a strong partnership with them and
there is smooth mutual cooperation. They are happy with our support and we are
satisfied with the way they drive the brand.”
Lenovo has five exclusive stores in Delhi, and this is the third one managed
by Unique Infoways. By March 2010, the channel partners are planning to open
three more exclusive retail stores in Noida, Faridabad and Gurgaon.

Lenovo is also identifying upcountry as its potential market and is planning
to open exclusive stores there too.
