Microsoft also teams up with Tandberg

New Delhi, Oct 18

Tandberg, announced its plans to make its full line of standards-based products interoperable with Microsoft Office Communications Server 2007.

According to a Tandberg statement, this interoperability between Microsoft and Tandberg solutions will enable individuals to launch high-quality video calls from their desktop, ensuring video becomes an integral part of the businesses today.

"I am excited about our relationship with Tandberg for accelerating the evolution of the unified communications platform," said Gurdeep Singh Pall, VP-Unified Communications Group, Microsoft. "Interoperability with Tandberg is key for our joint customers and will provide high-quality video-conferencing solutions in meeting rooms and on desktops around the world," he added.

"By combining Tandberg's video capabilities with Office Communications Server 2007, businesses can streamline communications, build a future-ready foundation for collaboration, increase efficiency and reduce costs," said Pall.
