AVS Labs, the exclusive distributor of Kingsoft Internet Security 9 by
Kingsoft Research, is on the lookout for new partners to distribute their
product. Sharing his view, Prasanna, CEO, AVS Labs said, “We are the exclusive
distributors of Kingsoft products. Having conquered the South Indian market, we
now want this to promote Kingsoft Internet Security 9 all across India.”
Talking about his channel plans, he said “We want to involve more partners
who can concentrate on our product, and help us achieve our target. Anyone who
is interested in selling our products can join us.
In return, we promise them a good product, better margins and servicing
personnel who will help customers with the products. We realize that sorting out
issues over the telephone becomes difficult as we cannot determine whether or
not the customer on the other side is tech-savvy,” he further added. Prasanna
said that the company takes servicing issues very seriously and they have
installed an online support center in Malaysia to eliminate problems as and when
they crop up.
Prasanna elaborated that he wants to cut out unnecessary competition, which
occurs when too many partners are selling the same product. “We want to clearly
demarcate between our and partners' margin. We want to keep our business as
simple as it can be. Since Kingsoft is new, we want to take it slow and steady.
We want to analyze the market, identify correct partners and then do business.”
