After receiving a complaint from a customer, Salem IT Association (SITA) has nabbed a person named Saalem, who was allegedly selling duplicate Kingston pen drives. The association has registered a complaint with Pallapatty police, who have filed an FIR and are looking into the issue.

The pen drives were sold asserting that the capacity is 32GB, while even 1GB of data could not be saved and could not be formatted in it too. The package was found to be made in China. Saalem disclosed that there are two more persons who have come here to sell the products.

They have been selling the products at crowded places and at the entrance of colleges.

Vishal Parekh, Marketing Manager-APAC Business Division, KIngston said, "We have sought the copy of FIR from SITA and will act upon it accordingly."
