Dynavision, Tally conduct workshop for customers
Monday, March 10, 2008

Kolkata-based Master Tally Partner (MTP), Dynavision Corp in association with Tally Solutions recently organized a mega workshop in Kolkata. The workshop was a paid event wherein the attendees had to register themselves for a fee of Rs 100. It was attended by 80 Tally partners from Kolkata and around 200 representatives from their clients including people head of accounts, chartered accountants, senior government officials, etc. “This is for the first time in eastern India that any MTP has organized a workshop of this level on its own in association with Tally. And considering that it was a paid workshop, the response received is mind-blowing,” said Amit Sharma, CEO, Dynavision.

“The workshop was essentially organized to train the users about the salient features, usage and benefits of Tally 9. The workshop also dealt with the problems faced by the users while operating the software and their troubleshooting,” informed Sharma. “Most of the times, the problems occur because of the lack of awareness among users about features of Tally or perhaps due to some hardware constraint,” he added saying that the workshop helped largely to create awareness among the users and educate them about using various features of Tally like payroll, excise, FBT, etc. “It was very beneficial for all of us since, we could directly interact with our users and train them on Tally 9. Due to its high success, we have been able to win the confidence of our clients which in future will act as good business generation leads for us,” stated Sharma.

Dynavision has also announced certain value-added schemes in the event wherein the company has offered the participants a free on-site call for troubleshooting, which otherwise charges Rs 500. “Apart from that any of the participating clients on buying any Tally product, will be entitled to get a free Kaspersky anti-virus worth Rs 2,700. Both the offers are available till March 31,” he informed. “We are very hopeful that this workshop will fetch us new users and we have already started betting good business through upgradation of our existing clients who are using old versions of Tally,” Sharma said further. In order to reduce the threat of pirated Tally usage, Dynavision is planning to conduct various awareness generating activities and roadshows. The company is also appointing new partners in the city in order to reach out to more customer base.
