SSR Computers expands in Orissa
Wednesday, April 09, 2008

Jeypore-based SSR Computers, a one-year old company, is expanding its business in the region. The company has witnessed a major demand for HP laptops in Jeypore and has recorded a growth of 200 percent in their revenue.

Buoyed by the success, SSR Computers plans to open two more branches in Koraput by this year-end. The company deals in digital products, laptops, and PCs from HP, Compaq, Acer, Lenovo, etc. The inclusion of new products to its portfolio like tablet PCs from HP has further stemmed the company's growth.

Sadhu Charana Das Choudhry, Proprietor, SSR Computers said, “We are a one-stop shop for all kind of PCs and IT accessories. To have a better future growth, we plan to open more outlets in the region. Every month we sell around 100 PCs.”

Currently, SSR Computers is offering a unique scheme on its PCs. On purchase of a laptop, the customer will get an MP3 player. The company plans to have more activities of this nature to attract customers.

The company encourages its customers to use original operating systems (OS). “We try to convince customers to use genuine OS. We educate them about the benefits of using the same,” shared Choudhry.
